The following summarizes the formats for Invited and Contributed Oral talks, as well as posters:
Oral presentations
Presentations must be uploaded to the laptop prior to the beginning of your session. USB drives and DVDs will be accepted. Due to the tight schedule, we are not able to accommodate any speaker laptops. If a talk is not uploaded in a timely manner, the Session Chair will have the option to replace it with a backup talk to ensure session continuity.
Please Note: The format for the oral presentations should be 16:9 |
Only Power Point presentations (.ppt) and Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf) will be accepted, as the available software includes Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader. The presenter is responsible for knowing how to use the software for their file format.
A computer, projector, laser pointer, slide advancer, and microphone will be available in each oral session room. Audio Visual Technicians will be available to provide technical support.
Time schedules for talks are as follows:
Plenary talks: 60 minutes (50 min presentation + 10 min discussion)
Invited talks: 25 minutes (20 min presentation + 5 min discussion)
Contributed talks: 15 minutes (12 min presentation + 3min discussion)
Poster Presentations
The location of the poster sessions will be on the 3nd Floor Exhibition Area. Posters must fit on a 120 cm high and 80 cm wide poster board (i.e. portrait orientation), which is roughly 3.94 feet by 2.62 feet. The poster presenter is expected to remain at the poster during the entire time allotted to the poster session. Each poster has been assigned a number, and must be mounted on the appropriately numbered board. (You can check the number by referring to the printed or on-line program once it is posted.)
Updates
Further information will be posted here when the Technical Program is completed to indicate times and venues, so check back before the conference starts.
